Positive: The check in staff were so helpful. Our room with a balcony and upgrade to a/c was perfect. The fresh water pool and spa facilities were amazing and the food in the restaurant was prop the best I’ve ever eaten. Top rate hotel

Positive: Beautiful setting. Secluded, pastoral location surrounded by trees and small streams winding through the woods, walking and bike paths going off in multiple directions, pleasant 25 minute walk into the medieval city of Villingen. Weather was cold, so I didn’t use the pool or Wellness facility, but looked very appealing. Family run, very friendly people, front desk manager Michael and dining room hostess/owner spoke English well, which was appreciated; excellent restaurant for dinner; also very nice breakfast buffet.
Negative: No meaningful problems at all; I really enjoyed the Property with its natural setting in the trees. If you force me, I guess I would mention the room didn’t have a safe, although the location seemed so secure didn’t worry me; and I don’t love liquid “all-in-one” soaps squeezed from wall mounted plastic dispensers for shampoo and body wash, but those didn’t detract from overall great experience, and I concede separate soaps and shampoo in elegant little bottles and wrappings are bad for environment.

Positive: exceptional food staff was extremely nice most beautiful and peaceful location the rooms extremely clean every day the rooms art indeed sound proof never heard any of the other guests everybody was very respectful
Negative: couldn't come up with anything
